This policy explains what information Routeify LLC ("Routeify," "we," "us") collects through routeify.io and its pages, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Use of the Routeify platform, including the producer, buyer, and carrier portals, is governed by the separate terms you agree to when you create an account.
The short version
- We collect what you type into our forms, plus basic analytics about how people use the site.
- We use it to reply to you, provide our services, and improve Routeify.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for advertising.
- Email hello@routeify.io any time to see, correct, or delete what we have.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on our site, such as a sign-up or demo request, we collect what you enter: your name, business name, email address, phone number (if you give one), ZIP code, your role (producer, buyer, carrier, investor, or other), how you heard about us, whether you'd like a demo, and anything you write in the message box.
When you book a demo, you give your name, email, and any answers you add directly to Calendly, our scheduling provider.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, buttons clicked, forms submitted, approximate location (city or region), device and browser type, and the website or link that brought you here. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to do this.
- Campaign source. If you arrive from one of our links or business cards, the page remembers that source in your browser so that a later form submission can tell us where you first heard about us. It stays in your browser's local storage until you clear it.
- Server and security logs. Our hosting and security providers process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, set up demos, and follow up about Routeify.
- To understand where demand is and plan where Routeify serves next, using the ZIP codes and roles people share.
- To understand which pages, links, and campaigns are working, and to improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
We may email you about Routeify and product updates. Every such email will include a way to opt out, or you can ask us to stop at hello@routeify.io.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, and only for that purpose:
- Formspree receives and delivers our form submissions to us.
- Google Analytics provides site analytics.
- Calendly handles demo scheduling. Calendly's scheduler loads on our pages so the booking window can open quickly, and its own privacy policy applies to information you enter there.
- Cloudflare and GoDaddy host, deliver, and protect the website.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Routeify or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to the information.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to respond to you and run our business, and delete them when they're no longer needed or when you ask us to. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention period set in our Analytics account.
Your choices
- See, correct, or delete your information. Email hello@routeify.io and we'll respond within 30 days.
- Stop emails. Use the opt-out link in any email, or just ask us.
- Analytics and cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works without them.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Contact us and we'll honor the rights that apply to you.
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
Routeify is a service for businesses. The site isn't meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make that clear on the site or tell you directly.
